Advertising & Monetization

Google Mobile Ads Integration

DocQR Tools Lite uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements. This allows us to offer the app for free while supporting ongoing development and maintenance.

Ad Formats Used

  • Banner Ads: Fixed-size ads displayed at the bottom of screens
  • Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads shown during natural transitions (e.g., before creating a PDF)
  • Rewarded Ads: Users can watch short ads to unlock premium features
  • Rewarded Interstitial Ads: Full-screen rewarded ads for enhanced engagement
  • Native Ads: In-feed ads designed to match app appearance
  • App Open Ads: Ads shown when returning to the app (after 1st launch)

🎯 Smart Ad Placement

We use smart frequency capping and contextual placement to:

  • Show ads at natural user interaction points (minimize disruption)
  • Respect minimum time intervals between consecutive ads
  • Avoid ads on low-engagement screens
  • Provide opt-in rewarded ad opportunities

Google's Data Collection

Google collects advertising data to serve personalized ads. This includes device information, app usage patterns, and other data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. This data is not shared with Bengal Bytes and is used solely for advertising purposes.
